We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the delivery of a $10M new build retail/commercial development in Western Sydney. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable builder with a strong pipeline of work, delivering a high‐quality project from groundworks through to completion.
You will play a critical role in driving programme, safety, quality, and subcontractor performance on site, ensuring the project is delivered on time and to the highest standards.
As Site Manager, you will have full responsibility for the day‐to‐day management and control of site operations, reporting to the Project Manager and working closely with the delivery team.
Key Responsibilities
* Full‐time presence on site during standard working hours
* Overall coordination and supervision of all site trades and subcontractors
* Ensuring works are carried out safely and in compliance with WHS requirements, approved documentation, and project scope
* Day‐to‐day programme management, sequencing, and progress monitoring
* Conducting site inductions, toolbox talks, and enforcing site rules and procedures
* Acting as the primary point of contact for all site‐related matters
* Managing site quality, workmanship standards, and defect control
* Coordinating inspections, approvals, and certifications as required
* Maintaining accurate site records and reporting progress to the project team
About You
* Proven experience as a Site Manager on new build commercial and/or retail projects ($5M+ preferred)
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple trades in a fast‐paced environment
* Excellent understanding of construction methodology, sequencing, and programme delivery
* Sound knowledge of WHS legislation and site safety practices
* Strong communication and problem‐solving skills
* Relevant construction qualifications and tickets
