We’re searching for an experienced Finance Business Partner who can take ownership of all infrastructure accounting requirements, work closely with asset‑owning teams, and bring clarity, insight and trusted advisory support to operational leaders.

What you’ll be doing
* Managing the full suite of accounting requirements for the organisation’s asset portfolio.
* Coordinating inputs into the Annual Budget and Quarterly Budget Reviews across capital and infrastructure programs
* Building strong partnerships with business units - becoming their trusted advisor on financial performance, budgeting, and operational alignment
* Providing routine and ad hoc financial reporting, insights and guidance to support informed decision‑making
* Working with asset stakeholders to ensure asset valuations, assumptions, useful life assessments and condition data comply with accounting standards
* Considering whole‑of‑life asset management, including long‑term service level impacts and asset disposal planning
* Supporting the development of capital works and maintenance programs through robust financial modelling, forecasting and analysis
* Assessing impacts of changes to service levels, new infrastructure, and long‑term sustainability modelling
About You
* Tertiary qualifications in Accounting (e.g. B.Com, B.Bus or Masters of Professional Accounting)
* 5+ years’ experience in a comparable role within a large, complex organisation
* Strong background in asset accounting within an infrastructure‑based environment
* Proven experience in internal and external financial reporting
* Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills - with the ability to influence, guide and support stakeholders at all levels
* Advanced analytical and research skills, including extracting, analysing and presenting financial information in a clear, meaningful way
Highly Regarded
* CA or CPA Certified
* Demonstrable experience in complex forecasting/modeling
* Exposure to highly regulated environments
