About the role
The Trade Centre operates a delivery and pick‐up solution for key building lines, supporting commercial customers with a 'whole of build' solution. As a Forklift Operator you will ensure efficient movement of stock, products and materials, safely operating a forklift to load, unload and transport goods, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
What's involved
* Safely operate a forklift to load, unload and transport goods within the Trade Centre
* Organise and maintain stock, ensuring products are easily accessible
* Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock control
* Ensure safe and efficient storage of goods, maintaining a clean and organised warehouse environment
* Assist with stock takes and report discrepancies when necessary
* Collaborate with the team to fulfil customer orders quickly and accurately
* Adhere to all safety protocols and operational procedures to maintain a safe work environment
* Assist with customer service as required, including loading customer vehicles when needed
Who we're looking for
* A current valid forklift licence
* Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or trade centre environment is preferred
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work efficiently in a busy and fast‐paced environment
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* A positive, can‐do attitude and a focus on safety
* Availability to work flexible hours Monday‐Friday (6am‐5pm)
Conditions
Full‐time role – Monday to Friday, 6am to 5pm. Adult pay rate for 18 years of age and older at $30.45 per hour.
