Job Description
As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a small team in the scoping, initiation, and delivery of engineering design projects. This involves evaluating project requirements and providing sound engineering design solutions that ensure compliance with technical standards and alignment to agreed project briefs.
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals in the design and delivery of engineered projects, including infrastructure development, road construction, and rehabilitation, as well as drainage upgrades.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need tertiary qualifications in Civil Design or Engineering, or a combination of relevant qualifications, training, and industry experience. Key skills include:
* Strong experience in civil design and engineering, particularly in the design of roads, drainage, cycleways, and recreation facilities.
* Knowledge of construction procedures for civil engineering works, along with proven experience in project initiation, quantity calculations, and estimating.
* A working knowledge of structural engineering and building construction is advantageous.
