Service Administrator Traineeship
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and organized Service Administrator to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term traineeship, where you will have the opportunity to complete a Certificate III in Business. This role is vital within our WA Service team, providing day-to-day administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our service delivery.
Reporting to the Service Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the coordination of service jobs, timesheet entry, travel bookings, and general office administration. You will also be part of a rotating reception roster, ensuring professional front‑of‑house service for both visitors and phone enquiries.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing administrative support to the Service Manager and supervisors
* Processing timesheets, booking travel, and assisting with workflow coordination
* Processing purchase orders, receipting supplier invoices, and supporting cost tracking
* Participating in the reception roster, including answering phones and greeting visitors
* Managing uniforms, office supplies, and consumables
* Maintaining contractor records and supporting inductions
* Handling document management, mail distribution, filing, and general office upkeep
* Assisting with meeting room setups and providing backup support to other administrators as required
Qualifications
* A genuine interest in building a career in business administration
* Some previous experience in an administration or office support role is beneficial, though not essential
* Confidence using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel
* Strong communication and customer service skills, including a professional phone manner
* High attention to detail and solid organisational skills
* A reliable, punctual, and proactive approach to work
* Willingness to learn, take direction, and collaborate with a supportive team
