A global leader in its field, this $500m+ (in AU/ NZ) business is about to embark on a huge digital transformation, re-platforming to Adobe Commerce and re-organising the team to bring in their first, stand-alone Ecommerce Manager, to manage both AU and NZ businesses.
Reporting to the AU/ NZ Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for leading the digital (eCommerce) transformation, managing over approx. $200m in online, B2B sales across both AU and NZ and managing a team of four digital and content marketers.
What you'll be doing day-to-day:
* Owning and executing on the Digital/ eCommerce strategy for the AU/ NZ businesses
* Driving traffic, lead generation and sales through online channels
* Delivering a cohesive and seamless customer journey
* Overseeing and managing Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) initiatives
* Managing the digital transformation/ re-platforming alongside agency
* Managing third party-suppliers and agencies, both digital marketing and technical
* Leading a team of four digital marketing and content specialists, across AU and NZ
What you'll need to get the role:
* Extensive eCommerce experience, ideally in a B2B environment
* Proven experience leading, driving and implementing eCommerce strategy
* Ability to manage ecommerce platforms that support custom pricing, account logins, and complex product hierarchies
* Demonstrated experience working with ERP-integrations and ecommerce solutions
* Familiarity with CRM and PIM systems in a B2B context
* Solid understanding of B2B sales processes and how ecommerce can support self-service, account retention and up-sell
* Experience with Google Analytics, and an ability to interpret data to drive actionable insights
* Experience with user journey and conversion optimisation tools for B2B funnels
* Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to work with both internal teams (sales and procurement) and external partners
* Technical confidence with ecommerce platforms (e.g. Magento/Adobe Commerce), CMS and integration platforms/ tools
* Knowledge of SEO/SEM and other digital marketing strategies to drive traffic and sales
Please Note: regular travel to New Zealand will be required (a week per quarter on average) and preference will be given to those with full-working rights in AU.
Salary: $120-140k + super + 10% bonus (dependent on experience).
