About the role
We're looking for a Program / Project Coordinator to provide high‑quality coordination, reporting and governance support across transformation programs and projects at Essential Energy.
In this role, you'll work closely with Program and Project Managers to support the delivery of change initiatives that align with Essential Energy's strategic objectives. You'll play a key part in ensuring accurate reporting, effective risk and issue management, and strong project governance throughout the project lifecycle.
This is a permanent opportunity and can be based anywhere within Essential Energy's operational footprint.
Key responsibilities include:
* Support program and project governance through accurate reporting, tracking and documentation
* Monitor program/project information to identify risks, issues and trends impacting timelines, outcomes and benefits
* Prepare consolidated reports and materials for management and governance forums
* Coordinate and maintain project data within business systems to support timely reporting and decision‑making
* Build and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders to support delivery of program/project outcomes
* Coordinate program/project communications, including shared mailboxes, SharePoint sites, calendars and meetings
* Support change and implementation activities, including identifying and assessing change impacts
* Assist with procurement and contract coordination for external service providers
About You
You're an organised and proactive coordinator who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment. You bring strong attention to detail, sound communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting delivery teams.
You will bring:
* Experience supporting projects or change initiatives in a structured environment
* Strong reporting, data analysis and documentation skills
* Experience using business systems such as MS Office, MS Project and SharePoint
* Well‑developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Strong time management and organisational capability
Required Qualifications
* Certificate IV in Project Management Practice or equivalent demonstrated experience
