I-MED is pleased to be offering an opportunity for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. You will be based at Latrobe Regional Hospital in Traralgon. This role is permanent full time, working Monday to Friday between the hours of 6:30am and 6pm. We are open to senior technologists who can help drive the team and develop leadership skills, and to junior technologists seeking experience. Reporting to the Nuclear Medicine/PET Coordinator, you will perform all aspects of Nuclear Medicine including radiopharmaceutical preparation and Quality Control procedures to the highest standard. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist you will manage patients and operate specialised imaging equipment in accordance with professional standards. The ideal candidate will be motivated and energetic and willing to learn in busy private practice and hospital settings. 
What e2 80 99s on offer 
Domestic candidates: $10,000 sign-on bonus, plus $5,000 retention bonus after two years. For relocating from mainland Australia, a $10,000 relocation allowance including flights and initial accommodation (reimbursement based on receipts, not taxable). 
International candidates: $10,000 sign-on bonus, plus $5,000 retention bonus after two years. Comprehensive relocation package including up to $20,000 relocation allowance for flights and personal belongings, visa sponsorship fees assistance. 
Key accountabilities 
Perform all aspects of Nuclear Medicine including radiopharmaceutical preparation and Quality Control procedures to the highest standard 
Deliver high levels of patient care and service 
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with patients, referrers, staff and managers 
Promote and maintain the highest quality and safety standards 
Our Ideal Nuclear Medicine Technologist 
Demonstrated ability to perform high quality Nuclear Medicine examinations independently 
High competency in PET examinations 
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of health professionals and corporate staff 
Tertiary qualification in Nuclear Medicine 
AHPRA Registration and VIC radiation license 
Diagnostic CT accreditation would be an advantage but not required
