In this senior role you will be based in our South Perth corporate office and provide support, guidance, and technical advice in relation to workplace health and safety management.Reporting To The Manager Safety, Your Key Accountabilities Include Maintain and improve IGO’s critical risk framework and processes; Maintain and continually improve IGO’s safety management system; Collate and manage monthly and annual reporting data, including the annual sustainability report as it relates to health and safety; Assist operational sites in managing their health and safety risks; Develop and communicate organisational learnings as they relate to OHS, including investigation summaries; Assist in incident classification and investigations where appropriate; and Play an important part in the implementation of the IGO annual safety improvement plan. Your ExperienceThe ideal candidate will be self-motivated, delivery focussed and thrive on building capability that improves safety outcomes for our business.We Are Also Seeking The Following Relevant tertiary qualifications in occupational health and safety; Significant experience in a similar role within the mining and/or exploration industry; A strong understanding of critical risk management; Excellence in championing workplace health and safety outcomes and actively making a difference; Highly developed analytical and report writing skills; Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; Strong working knowledge of MS Office suite, and safety management systems; Valid ‘C’ class manual drivers’ licence; and National Police Clearance obtained within the last two months.
