About The Role
Bring your hospitality experience to our NEW Social Enterprise! Mai‐Wel is expanding our social enterprise into the world of hospitality in order to bring new learning opportunities to the people we support. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Coordinator - Hospitality to support the ground‐up launch of this new endeavour. Put your skills to work to not just provide great hospitality but also build and create opportunities for people to live their Full of Possible!
As the Operations Coordinator - Hospitality, you will oversee all aspects of our new social enterprise. You will contribute to building this enterprise and, once operational, you will support staff development and maintain a positive, supportive environment aligned with Mai‐Wel's values.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the setup, establishment, and ongoing operations of the new hospitality enterprise
* Manage daily operations including rostering, stock control, ordering, and customer service
* Support and mentor staff, including individuals engaged through NDIS Employment Supports
* Maintain compliance with food safety, WHS, and organisational policies
* Drive a positive culture focused on quality, inclusion, and community engagement
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support the business operations
Position Details

* Hours: 38 hours per week
* Salary: SCHADS Level 4
