Event Coordinator
The Event Coordinator is a pivotal role within our organization, responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering exceptional events.
* Key responsibilities include event planning, coordination and execution.
* Hosting on-site familiarisations and planning meetings with key stakeholders.
* Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless event delivery.
* Preparing detailed BEO documents to outline event logistics.
* Leading and motivating staff through service excellence.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Coordinating events from initial inquiry to final execution.
* Maintaining exceptional relationships with clients, ensuring complete satisfaction throughout the process.
* Ensuring timely communication with all stakeholders, including vendors and team members.
* Managing logistical aspects of events, such as venue setup and catering.
* Overseeing event timelines, budgets and other critical details.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A minimum of 3 years of experience in senior hospitality or events management.
* Demonstrated expertise in CRM and events software.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
* Superior organizational skills, with attention to detail and ability to multitask.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive attitude and professional manner.
This role requires the ability to work nights, weekends and public holidays as required. The successful candidate will be able to prioritize tasks effectively, manage multiple projects simultaneously and maintain high levels of productivity under pressure.
