Advanced Lock & Key is a family owned and operated locksmith business based in Wangara. 
For 25 years we have provided locksmith services to commercial businesses, government departments and private clients throughout the Perth metro area. 
We have supported many locksmiths through their apprenticeships and into rewarding careers as professional locksmiths. 
The Position 
Advanced Lock & Key is looking to employ a committed young person interested in pursuing a career in Locksmithing. 
The position is a four-year apprenticeship culminating in a formal Locksmith qualification. 
Training will be provided at our Wangara workshop, and you will be required to attend TAFE studies when necessary as part of your training. 
TAFE fees will be paid by us for you. 
Our friendly, experienced team will guide and support you in learning many new skills in all areas of locksmithing, with industry specific software, machinery and products. 
The Role 
Serving customers by phone, face to face and email 
Keying up locks 
Automotive programming 
Many other varied locksmithing tasks 
The applicant should be 
Honest and reliable - working Mon-Fri 
Willingness to learn and take instruction 
Ability to work within a friendly, experienced team 
Friendly / valuable communicator 
Ability to commit to a 4 year apprenticeship for your career as a locksmith 
Possess valid Australian work rights 
Requirements for the successful applicant 
National Police Clearance 
Current driver's licence 
Ability to meet customer requirements, including current flu vaccination
