ResourceCo is expanding and will continue to grow our business in 2026 and beyond, enabling us to support our customers with sustainable solutions for the booming infrastructure industry. We are seeking a Business Development Manager to lead and drive our Soil Reuse and Recycling Business unit in South Australia.
Responsibilities
* Develop and manage key customer accounts in the construction, soil, and waste sectors by offering efficient, reliable, and sustainable solutions.
* Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities by leading customer meetings in both formal office and workplace settings.
* Establish and nurture positive working relationships with Project Managers and Estimators to identify new business opportunities.
* Ensure all lead and customer solutions are captured in our live materials management system.
* Effectively manage relationships with suppliers to ensure cost‐effective solutions and successful project outcomes.
* Meet and exceed weekly and monthly sales targets as outlined in the budget.
* Demonstrate ResourceCo's values (Sustainable, Committed, Creative, and Agile) in all day‐to‐day activities.
Qualifications
* Proven business development experience in the quarry, soil reuse, waste management, or construction industries.
* Established network within Adelaide's construction and civil sectors, particularly major infrastructure projects.
* Energetic, self‐motivated, and proactive in building relationships and delivering creative solutions.
* Comfortable working in dynamic environments and able to think on their feet to achieve business outcomes.
* Strong commercial acumen and entrepreneurial flair.
* Industry experience in Building Materials, Construction, Waste, Quarrying, Manufacturing or operational/resources environments is preferred.
