We are seeking a dedicated Family Support Coordinator to help children and families transition from early childhood services into primary school.
The successful applicant will support positive attendance, behavior, and learning, while connecting families with services to remove barriers to education.
About the Role
* Develop effective partnerships with external stakeholders to drive positive outcomes for families and children.
* Collaborate with classroom teachers, teacher aides, and specialist support staff to understand the child's needs and connect families with services.
* Built relationships with students, parents, school staff, government agencies, and community services to promote engagement in learning and improved learning outcomes.
* Enhance school communities' understanding of vulnerable children and families and their needs to facilitate engagement in learning and improved learning outcomes.
Requirements
* A brief resume including contact details for 2 professional referees.
* A written statement in response to the attached role description (maximum 1 page).
