The Role
As General Manager Finance & Corporate Services, you will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer and play a pivotal role as a member of the Executive Team.
This key executive role oversees finance, risk, ICT, property and assets while ensuring Astley Care delivers high‐quality aged care services underpinned by robust systems, strong governance, and sound financial stewardship. You will lead and develop a multidisciplinary team through a period of growth and transformation, requiring steady leadership, capability-building, and the ability to bring people with you as the organisation evolves.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead all finance and accounting functions, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, audit coordination, and financial reporting.
* Develop long-term financial plans and models to support organisational sustainability, growth, and strategic decision-making.
* Provide accurate, timely, and insightful reporting to the CEO, Executive Team, and Board to support informed decision-making.
* Strengthen governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks, including reporting to regulators and funding bodies.
* Support strategic planning, business cases, and organisational performance monitoring.
* Lead digital transformation initiatives and ensure technology systems effectively support service delivery.
* Oversee procurement, contracts, and asset management to ensure value for money and operational efficiency.
What We Are Looking For
* Proven senior finance leadership experience (CFO, GM Finance or equivalent).
* Experience within aged care, health, or community services, with a strong understanding of funding models such as Support at Home, is highly regarded.
* Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Commerce or Finance with CPA, CA or equivalent accreditation.
* Strong financial and analytical capability with the ability to translate complex financial information for diverse audiences.
* Demonstrated experience in financial management, governance, compliance, and organisational performance.
* Experience leading high-performing teams and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
* High attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to risk management.
