About the Role
Reporting to the Finance Director this is a fantastic hybrid full-time opportunity to build on your hard-earned existing skills and further your career as a Financial Accountant. You'll be part of a high-performing closeknit team of six, and be part of a high-growth, globally recognised digital advertising agency with a global reach, backed by North American HQ, with offices in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and Auckland. What You'll Do
You'll own critical aspects of the ANZ financial function, including:
* Month-end close, revenue recognition, forecasting & budgeting
* Solid data, critical thinking and problem-solving ability to interpret financial data - identify, communicate risks, opportunities and provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders
* Complex reconciliations - deferred revenue, payroll, bank
* Statutory compliance - FBT, Payroll Tax, Income Tax, GST (AU & NZ)
* Financial modelling, P&L reviews, dashboards, and board reporting
* Support audits, cashflow analysis, and finance transformation projects
* Collaborate with AP, AR, and assist with intercompany transactions
* Respond to parent company (US) reporting needs
You'll Bring
* CA/CPA qualified, with 3-5yrs' experience (including at least 2-3yrs as a Financial Accountant)
* Solid experience in Australian-owned businesses (>$25M turnover)
* Strong tax and statutory reporting knowledge (AU & NZ)
* Large ERP systems experience (e.g. SAP, Oracle, JDE - we use INFOR)
* Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, SUMIFs, etc.)
* A sharp eye for detail and the ability to tell the story behind the numbers
* High standards of integrity, governance and confidentiality (e.g. in the use of AI, privacy)
* Exceptional time management, communication and stakeholder engagement at all levels
* Confidence and initiative with excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Adaptable self-starter comfortable working autonomously in a fast paced environment
* Proactive, enthusiastic, humble, fun and a team player
