A family-run Mediterranean/Local Deli & Cafe looking for an experience, well rounded Deli Assistant who has product knowledge and a genuine connection with our customers and team. You will have shared responsibilities assisting in the deli and some assistance in the cafe, cash handling, POS.
- all day parking/close to public transport
- Located in Balwyn North
- Work over a 5-6 day roster
- Greeting & Serving customers
- Wrapping/ packing of products
- Slicing cold meats & cheeses
- General cleaning
- Filling and rotating stock
- Product presentation and merchandising
- Ad-hoc deli duties
**What do you need?**
- 2-3 years experience working in a Delicatessen
- Provide top tier customer service
- A passion for fine foods
- A creative flare & high attention to detail
- Hard working & have a positive attitude
- Strong communication skills & willingness to learn
- Maintain high level of food safety and food handling practicesFull Time/Part time opportunity for the right person
