We're looking for a passionate and creative Hip Hop teacher to join Mildura Ballet & Dance Guild Inc. commencing Term 1 2026
The successful applicant will lead the Hip Hop genre at our school from beginner to senior classes. For the right applicant there is scope to teach other genres.
This is a casual role with remuneration based on experience and qualifications.

Mildura Ballet & Dance Guild Inc. is a not for profit organisation offering Classical Ballet, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Jazz, Tap, and Ready Set Dance.
Established in 1959, the Guild endeavours to promote and foster the art of dance in varied forms of expression for the enjoyment of all children.
About you
Strong technical knowledge and performance background in Hip Hop (and your other genres)
Foster a learning environment that is engaging, supportive and safe; uphold school standards
Experience with children and teens; ability to cater to a range of dance levels
Communicate effectively with young children through adults
Committed to excellence in your teaching and eager to keep learning
National Police Check and Working with Children Check
First Aid and CPR certification
About the role
Plan and deliver high-quality classes for beginner to senior students, including proper dance technique, terminology and artistic expression
Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to students
Collaborate with colleagues creatively and professionally on performance opportunities for students (e.g. annual concert, showcase, eisteddfod)
Create choreography and costume design that are age and skill appropriate
Hours
During term our studio operates classes from 4pm into the evening on Monday through Friday, and on Saturday mornings. For the Hip Hop role typical hours would be on weekdays.
Flexibility is key – especially during peak times like concerts or other special events when extra hours will be required, including some weekend hours.
