Lift Technician (Electrician)

Savaria Australia is seeking an experienced Electrician to join our Victorian team at a time of strong growth in the lift and accessibility industry. With operations throughout Australia, we specialise in installing and servicing many different types of accessibility equipment including stairlifts, platform lifts and residential & commercial lifts.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for a motivated technician with electrical licensing to carry out installation & service work based in Melbourne. Reporting to the Victorian Operations Manager and working as part of the Vic team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing our equipment in accordance with product design parameters, complying with national safety standards, and in accordance with our overall business plan.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
A successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:
* Experience of installation and/or maintenance of electrical equipment
* Particular experience in relay logic controls, PLC controls, and motion control electrical circuitry
* The ability to complete quality work with motivation to achieve daily targets and schedules
* Capability to fault find a variety of equipment using technical knowledge and systematic investigation
* The desire to learn new skills and learn about lift equipment
* Good teamwork and communication skills
* Confidence and professionalism to deal with clients face to face
* Possession of a current electrical license and driver's license
* Previous lift/elevator experience viewed favourably, but not essential
