Key Responsibilities:
* Evaluate and improve internal controls to ensure financial integrity and compliance.
* Lead and execute audit assignments, including SOX audits, and facilitate positive responses and actions through effective communication.
* Develop or modify audit work programs as required and provide guidance and direction when necessary.
* Contribute to the development of internal audit processes and support other departments in achieving their objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Tertiary qualifications in Commerce/Business, ideally majoring in Accounting/Finance.
* Reasonable audit experience within an internal or external environment, with previous experience in a similar industry considered favorably.
* Professional certification as a Chartered Accountant or Certified Practicing Accountant highly desirable.
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with a customer-focused approach and ability to engage effectively with all levels of management.
* Leadership and problem-solving expertise, including the ability to coach teams, manage audits, and provide strategic advice with a keen eye for detail.
* Proficiency in business systems and technology, with desirable experience in Oracle/SAP, plus a proactive, deadline-driven work style with strong decision-making capabilities.
