About the Role
Airswift is partnering with a leading engineering consultancy to deliver a large‑scale wind farm project in rural South Australia. We are seeking a skilled Civil Site Supervisor to oversee civil construction activities and ensure quality, safety, and compliance throughout the delivery phase.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the day‑to‑day delivery of civil works including roads, foundations, drainage, trenching, and hardstands.
* Ensure contractors are executing works in line with approved designs, specifications, and project plans.
* Conduct routine site inspections to assess progress, quality, and compliance, and address any issues proactively.
* Keep accurate records of civil activities, including progress tracking, site observations, and corrective actions.
* Respond to technical queries and help resolve interface challenges across civil scopes.
* Review contractor claims and verify key milestones and hold points before sign‑off.
* Issue site instructions when needed to maintain alignment with project objectives.
* Collaborate with BoP, TSI, TNSP, and Owner's Engineer teams to ensure smooth coordination across disciplines.
* Manage civil interface planning, including access routes, work sequencing, and shared zones.
* Participate in daily pre‑starts, toolbox talks, and weekly coordination meetings to maintain site cohesion.
* Step into broader site leadership duties when the Construction Manager is off‑site.
* Represent the Owner during stakeholder visits and coordination meetings.
* Support the implementation of quality assurance processes and ensure civil works meet required standards.
Requirements
* Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
* 8–10 years' experience in civil supervision on infrastructure or renewable energy projects.
* Strong understanding of QA / QC, WHS regulations, and civil construction methods.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to work independently in remote environments.
