**Job description**
**Labourpower trade** are working with Australia's leading recycling company and are seeking an experienced **Maintenance Tradesperson**
**The Role**
**Your main responsibilities** will be but not limited to - Maintain, conduct routine maintenance, and troubleshoot equipment faults on multiple sites, scheduling repairs, maintaining inventory, and developing preventative maintenance procedures/schedules.
**Dayshift position**
**This a role after you pass probation will go into a Permanent Position**
**Duties**
- Conducting routine inspections of site and equipment - Repairing machines, equipment, or structures as necessary.
- Undertake a broad range of works across various trade facets as directed by Maintenance Manager
- Ensure all work is completed in an efficient and safe manner and to a high standard of quality
- Provide timely, clear and accurate updates and work statuses to Maintenance Manager
- Diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them - Identify and problem solve plant issues
**Key Requirements**
- Proven experience working in a building trade environment is essential.
- Experience with light machinery and all hand tools including power tools is essential.
- Trade qualification is essential - Mechanical, fabrication and or electrical desirable.
- Self-motivation and the ability to work with initiative.
- Ability to work constructively as a member of an effective team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, an open and friendly disposition and the ability to listen effectively.
- Capacity and willingness to proactively participate in training & development related to maintenance
- Ability to work under pressure
- EWP licence desirable

**Salary**: $48,961.58 - $94,688.30 per year
