Decontamination Specialist
We are seeking a skilled Decontamination Specialist to assist with pre-operative sterile set-ups and post-operative decontamination and collation of instruments.
This role is ideal for individuals looking for a full-time or part-time position on a temporary six-month contract, with the possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparation of sterile set-ups according to surgeon's preference cards.
* Checking and decontamination of surgical instruments immediately post-op.
* Packing, transporting, and organizing transfer of instruments and equipment.
Requirements:
* Hard working, honest, and reliable individual.
* Experience as a perioperative nurse or CSSD technician.
* Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* Relevant qualifications and right to work in Australia.
