We are seeking a PMO Finance Analyst to deliver project-focused financial and analytical support across our IT project portfolio. This role goes beyond traditional finance, requiring a project-oriented mindset, strong collaboration with stakeholders, and the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights that directly support successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Execute project financial operations, including forecasting, accruals, cost recovery, and month-end close, escalating risks as needed.
* Prepare and refine financial reports and analysis, leveraging advanced Excel and modelling skills to deliver actionable insights.
* Track project resources and effort, ensuring data accuracy and timely reporting.
* Provide analytical support to GMs, EMs, and cross-functional teams, including ad hoc requests.
* Contribute to process improvements, automation, and standardisation initiatives.
* Apply PMO principles and frameworks to ensure alignment with portfolio governance.
Key Accountabilities
* Act as a key point of contact for GM queries and escalations.
* Support the Portfolio Support Manager in mentoring analysts and building team capability.
* Maintain accurate databases and perform quality assurance.
* Deliver financial, analytical, and modelling outputs to senior leaders.
Key Skills & Experience
* Mandatory: Strong Excel and financial modelling expertise, experience in project finance or PMO-type roles, resource tracking, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
* Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
* Exposure to complex projects/programs across all lifecycle phases is preferred.
* Experience with timesheeting systems and database maintenance.
