The Opportunity
We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our Allied Health team at Nowra Private Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to support our inpatient acute rehabilitation patients. Reporting to the Allied Health Manager, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Department Manager, Team and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the care values and strategic direction of the Hospital and Ramsay Health Care.
Skills And Experience
We seek highly motivated individuals passionate about customer focused care and who thrive working within a multidisciplinary team. You will have well developed clinical and communication skills with the ability to work within a fast-paced environment.
* Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and registration with AHPRA
* Minimum one (1) years of occupational therapy experience in a hospital setting
* Ability to effectively assess, plan and implement individualised occupational therapy treatment programs
* Demonstrated ability to efficiently manage caseload demandsDemonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
* Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently as required
* Commitment to professional development and maintenance of current evidence-based practice
Remuneration
On offer is base hourly rate of $38.26 - $59.62 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
