We are seeking an experienced Shutdown Planner for immediate start.
FIFO from Perth with competitive hourly rate + super.
In this role, you'll be responsible for developing and delivering structured maintenance planning and shutdown strategies that ensure the safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation of fixed plant assets in the mining industry.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain detailed maintenance schedules to maximise equipment availability and minimise downtime.
Prepare comprehensive work packs including scope, hazards, permits, tools, labour, materials, durations, and sequencing.
Identify and mitigate risks related to maintenance and shutdown execution.
Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritise work based on asset criticality and operational demands.
Continuously improve planning practices to support site efficiency and safety.
Qualifications
3–5 years' experience as a Shutdown Planner in the mining/resources sector.
Solid knowledge of Fixed Plant maintenance planning, work management and shutdown processes.
Competent in CMMS, specifically SAP and MS Project.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in fast-paced, dynamic team environments.
