What's the role?
The Foreign Exchange (FX) group within Financial Markets provides trading and risk management capabilities across the FX product. This capability applies across the bank's customer base, ******** hours a day, with presence in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, London and New York.
The primary system used to manage this business is a Calypso software implementation.
The successful applicant will be expected to take responsibility for the ongoing analysis of business needs and the development of the system. This will involve collaborating with the business stakeholders and users, IT and Testing specialists and external suppliers.
What do I need?
Over a decade of experience in Java development, focused on building large-scale software solutions in an object-oriented environment.
Prior experience working with financial systems in Investment/Institutional Banks.
Experience with FX and FX Options would be highly advantageous for the position.
Agile Software development principles and methodologies.
Good interpersonal skills to deal with business, team members and vendor's representatives.
Ability to work under minimal supervision and in conjunction with Business aligned Business Analyst teams.
Strong business acumen for FM products and business processes, as well as technology.
2-5 years previous experience with Calypso is preferred.
Unix scripting preferred.
