Position summary
Our client is seeking an experienced Construction Lead to oversee site-based delivery for a large-scale energy project in WA. This role offers the opportunity to lead construction on a technically complex, high-profile project where safety, quality, and on-time performance are critical.

About the role
This position is responsible for leading and coordinating site-based construction activities, ensuring compliance with project objectives, technical specifications, and HSE standards. You will work closely with contractors, engineering teams, and key stakeholders to deliver safe and efficient outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
* Manage all SMP construction activities on site
* Oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure delivery standards are met
* Monitor construction schedules, budgets, and productivity KPIs
* Provide technical input into constructability reviews and project execution planning
* Ensure strict adherence to HSE protocols and site compliance requirements
* Liaise with engineering, procurement, and commissioning teams to align project milestones
* Report on progress to internal and external stakeholders
About you
We're looking for an experienced construction professional with a strong track record of delivering complex onshore plant projects in the energy, resources, or infrastructure sectors.
Essential skills & experience:
* Bachelor's degree OR relevant trade qualification
* Strong SMP (structural, mechanical, piping) background
* Proven success delivering onshore construction projects, ideally within energy or resources
* Ability to manage high-risk, technically complex scopes of work
* Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder management skills

* Experience working on large-scale or high-risk projects
