About the position
We are looking for a talented nurse to support our Dermatology department, working alongside our 2 specialist Dermatologists, you will assist with a wide variety of cases, from consult to procedure and imaging (when required), through to discharge.
This position is a part time role, 2 days a week Wednesdays and Thursdays ongoing.
About You
We are looking for a passionate nurse who can work independently with a reliable, adaptable and proactive approach to their work. We are looking for a nurse who has the following skills :
* A keen interest in Dermatology based work, with a desire to work closely with our patients throughout their entire SASH journey.
* A motivated nurse who will take ownership of the Dermatology Schedule, keen to step up and ensure the day runs on time.
* An ability to manage and prioritise tasks effectively.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
* Experience in General Anaesthesia & ventilation is desirable but not essential.
* Confidence working in an extremely busy environment.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, applicants must have :
* Completed a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
* A minimum of 3-4 years, full-time experience as a qualified nurse.
* Previous experience in medicine or oncology would be highly regarded but is not essential.
