About the Role
As Operations Manager, you will report to the General Manager and be an integral member of the Executive team. You will lead day-to-day hotel operations, ensuring effective Rooms Division and F&B Department management to meet established quality, guest, and colleague standards as well as departmental revenue and profit goals.
You will form strategic alliances and partners to support the Hotel's positioning and promote the Hotel and brand through community and professional involvement.

Daily Responsibilities
* Drive a great working environment for teams to thrive – connect departments to create a sense of one team.
* Interact with outside contacts: guests, vendors, and other contacts as needed.
* Monitor budget and control expenses with a focus on housekeeping productivity, laundry expenses, food, beverage, and labour costs.
* Support and drive any incremental revenue initiatives as required including daily sales and upsell incentives.
* Ensure that guest satisfaction data is analysed and that plans are developed and implemented to achieve established goals. Regularly review guest feedback and ratings and consider corrective actions to be implemented.
* The key communicator to the General Manager, Owner, and IHG for guest experience and feedback.
* Ensure all IHG Brand Standards are adhered to and the team are trained and held accountable to effectively deliver these standards.
* Work with the General Manager to ensure quality product delivery, design products and concepts to improve the customer experience, and maximise revenue and profit.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree or higher education qualification in Hotel Management and/or Business Administration.
* Four years of luxury/upscale hotel experience in a senior management capacity across Rooms and Food & Beverage.
* Experience working with and managing third-party labour suppliers.
* Demonstrated background in devising strategies to elevate the guest experience and increase loyalty enrolments.
* Ability to work across multiple diversified business units and multiple projects.
* Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to manage complex relationships and key stakeholders.
* Comprehension of Hotel systems and revenue management principles.
