ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a hybrid leadership role sitting at the intersection of social media, influencer/talent, and client service. The position requires someone with deep expertise in influencer and talent marketing who can run that capability end-to-end, while also operating at a senior client leadership level to manage relationships, shape briefs, oversee commercial delivery, and guide the strategic direction of large-scale social and talent programs. The Senior Account Director, Talent plays a critical role in translating client challenges into integrated talent strategies, ensuring campaigns are both culturally relevant and commercially effective. The role requires strong judgement, strategic thinking, and the ability to lead teams through the delivery of complex talent-led work across multiple clients. This role works closely with Hello's senior leadership team to shape the evolution of our talent capability, contributing to the agency's broader growth, reputation, and innovation in the creator economy.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Lead and manage a portfolio of clients, acting as the senior day-to-day contact and trusted advisor across talent-led initiatives.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication, strategic guidance and consistent delivery of high-quality work.
* Translate client objectives, brand challenges and audience insights into effective talent strategies that support broader campaign and business goals.
* Provide leadership across account delivery, ensuring campaigns are planned, executed and evaluated with clarity and rigour.
* Maintain oversight of account health including scope management, timelines, commercial delivery and proactive identification of opportunities for growth.
* Lead the development and execution of talent-led campaigns, brand partnerships and always-on influencer programs.
* Shape talent strategies that align with client objectives, platform dynamics and cultural relevance.
* Oversee talent selection, negotiation approaches and partnership structures in collaboration with the Talent team.
* Ensure campaigns are strategically aligned, creatively strong and executed with attention to detail across all stages of delivery.
* Work closely with integrated teams across social, content, PR and media to ensure talent programs form part of cohesive campaign ecosystems.
Strategic Contribution
* Contribute to the strategic direction of accounts by identifying opportunities to elevate talent work and deliver greater impact for clients.
* Translate briefs into structured approaches that connect talent partnerships with broader brand storytelling and campaign objectives.
* Provide guidance on cultural trends, creator ecosystems and emerging platform behaviours that may inform campaign development.
* Support senior leadership in identifying opportunities for innovation, growth and new business development within the talent capability.
* Lead and mentor Account Managers and Senior Account Managers across the team.
* Provide direction across campaigns and accounts to ensure teams understand priorities, timelines and expectations.
* Support the development of team capability across influencer marketing, campaign planning and client management.
* Contribute to a collaborative, accountable and high-performing team environment.
Commercial & Operational Excellence
* Maintain oversight of budgets, forecasts and billing across accounts in partnership with Finance.
* Ensure campaigns are scoped appropriately, with clear alignment between deliverables, fees and resourcing.
* Support the planning and coordination of work across teams to ensure campaigns are delivered efficiently and to Hello's standards.
* Maintain visibility across project timelines, campaign planning and internal processes to ensure smooth execution.
* Ensure all work is delivered in line with Hello's operational standards and contractual obligations.
Agency Contribution
* Contribute to the continued growth and development of Hello's talent capability through knowledge sharing and collaboration across teams.
* Support the agency's reputation for excellence in influencer and creator marketing through industry engagement and award submissions.
* Contribute to new business opportunities and the ongoing development of Hello's talent offering.
* Support collaboration, knowledge sharing and capability development across the agency.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Proven experience in a Senior Account Director role within an agency or talent agency environment
* Strong experience working with talent, creators, influencers, or partnerships
* Confidence leading senior clients and complex campaigns
* Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills
* Strategic thinker with strong attention to detail and commercial awareness
* A collaborative leader who brings calm, clarity, and momentum to teams
