About the role
The International Secretariat Technical Project Officer will collaborate with the International Networks and Benchmarking Manager and International Secretariat Data and Insights Specialist to deliver the formal international blood network programs (Alliance of Blood Operators and Asia Pacific Blood Network), overseeing Lifeblood's contributions. Responsibilities include bringing your specialist technical input and knowledge of blood and the blood sector to support delivery of the international benchmarking and knowledge exchange programs, and undertake data analysis, prepare reports and presentations for member Chief Executives and partners; facilitate expert group meetings by preparing materials and outputs; and supporting ABO and APBN Board meetings through agenda and paper coordination and presentation preparation. Work outside normal hours may be required to fulfil these duties effectively.

* Tertiary qualifications in Health Sciences, Public Health or similar degree
* Specialist technical knowledge of blood service delivery or experience of related health service delivery
* Superior written and verbal communication skills with a strong command of English composition
* Demonstrated project management experience and high‐level organisational skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, liaising at board and senior management level internationally
* Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Proven data analytics skills, including experience working with and modelling data to support the compilation and development of benchmarking and business performance reports (which may include using SQL, M (Power BI) & Excel formulas/VBA)
* Excellent attention to detail
