Fit Futures is a leader in sports education, reaching over 100 schools in the Sydney area. We deliver engaging PDHPE programs to primary school students, including Athletics, Fundamental Movement Skills (FMS), Dance, Gymnastics, and Ball Skills.
Role Summary
We are currently seeking motivated and enthusiastic Gymnastics Coaches to help deliver PDHPE lessons starting Term 2. This role is based in schools around Dapto area. Pregerably with Tuesday availability.
Many of our programs run for the full year, allowing you to work with the same classess, students, and teachers each week. This will provide you a glimpse into a teacher's life and give you an opportunity to see whether a future in teaching is for you. This provides a unique opportunity to gain insight into school life, build strong relationships, and explore a potential future in teaching. You will be joining a supportive, inclusive, and fun team while gaining valuable coaching experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Overseeing day-to-day teaching, learning and instruction.
* Instructing students in the delivery of various physical education programs
* Implementing high quality age-appropriate lessons for primary school children.
* Promotion of the Fit Futures Brand to grow the company.
* Unlock students' true potential, preparing them for unlimited success.
* Engage effectively with students, teaching staff, and colleagues, aligning with Fit Futures philosophy.
Requirements:
* 1 year of previous coaching experience.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Availability during school hours (8:30 am - 3:30 pm).
* Valid Working with Children Check
* Eligibility to work in Australia
* Punctuality and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
* Fun, energetic, thoughtful, and ambitious.
Preferred but not required:
* Gymnastics/Athletics/FMS/Ball Skills teaching experience: 1 year
* Level 1 or higher coaching accreditation in Gymnastics and Athletics particularly.
* Driver's Licence and own transport
