About The Opportunity
The primary purpose of this position is to deliver high-quality automation solutions, from concept through to commissioning, in alignment with client specifications and Australian Standards.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Develop and customise PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems
- Commission and validate automation projects on-site
- Troubleshoot issues and provide technical support
- Prepare design, testing, and user documentation
- Ensure compliance with AS/NZS 3000, AS 61508, and WHS
- Collaborate across teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
About You
We're looking for an expert who is ready to step in and take control:
- Proven experience delivering PLC/SCADA automation projects
- Solid grasp of industrial protocols (EtherNet/IP, Modbus, Profibus, OPC UA)
- Electrical licence or relevant engineering degree
- Strong problem-solving, documentation and WHS focus
- Confident communicator with a client-first approach
