The opportunity exists for a dedicated and ambitious professional with appropriate qualifications in Mechanical Building Services Engineering to join a select team of motivated individuals in the Building Services division of our practice.
The O'Neill Group is an established, highly regarded, multi‐disciplinary, Melbourne based consulting engineering practice. We provide innovative, integrated engineering design solutions to a variety of building and service infrastructure some exceeding $200 million in value which include commercial, retail, institutional and residential.
Responsibilities
You will have the ability to work autonomously, undertake detailed design and documentation, and assume the overall project coordination, including liaison with clients, statutory authorities and other design professionals.
You will have excellent communication skills, both written and oral. In addition to having a thorough grasp of your own engineering discipline, you will also have a sound working knowledge and understanding of other building services.
The ability to attend meetings as the building services representative would be seen as highly desirable.
Qualifications
The right candidate, as a minimum, will have a four‐year tertiary degree from a recognised institution, be a chartered member of the Institution of Engineers Australia and a Registered Professional Engineer.
Candidates must hold permanent residency status in Australia for this position.
This is a career position with advancement to associate level within the organisation. Attractive salary package will be provided for the right candidate.
