Medical Day Oncology Unit Leader
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to lead our Medical Day Oncology Unit. As an Associate Nurse Unit Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide advanced oncology nursing care, ensuring safe and evidence-based practice in chemotherapy and related treatments.
Assist with day-to-day coordination of patient flow, staff allocation, rostering, and resource management to ensure efficient service delivery.
Lead and participate in quality improvement initiatives, identify and mitigate clinical risks, and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and national guidelines.
Participate in mandatory meetings as required.

Requirements:
Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Experience in oncology or cancer care, preferably in a day medical or in-centre setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
