The Role
Join a regional Anaesthesia team within a 305-bed regional referral hospital with:
* 4 operating theatres + 2 procedure rooms
* 8-bed ICU/HDU
* Integrated cancer care service
You will:
* Deliver high-quality perioperative and acute anaesthesia care
* Participate in acute pain rounds and pre-anaesthetic clinics
* Support a wide range of specialties (Obstetrics, Orthopaedics, ENT, Dental)
* Contribute to on-call roster (after-hours + weekends)
* Play a key role in clinical governance, safety, and service development
Teaching & Leadership
* Supervise ANZCA trainees + CICM trainees
* Mentor junior doctors and medical students
* Contribute to a strong education culture and structured training programs
About You
* Eligible for AHPRA Specialist Registration
* FANZCA (or substantially comparable SIMG)
* Strong generalist anaesthesia skillset
* Passion for teaching, teamwork, and regional medicine
