Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating forklifts, moving and storing fresh produce, loading and unloading trucks, and ensuring our warehouse runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
* Safely Operate Forklifts: Move and transport fresh produce using forklifts, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
* Loading and Unloading Trucks: Load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of products.
* Storage and Retrieval: Store products in the correct areas for easy retrieval, maintaining a well-organized warehouse environment.
* Maintenance and Checks: Conduct regular checks and maintenance on forklifts to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
* Workplace Safety: Maintain a safe and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Team Collaboration: Work closely with the team to ensure timely and accurate order processing.
Requirements:
* Current Forklift Licence: Possess a valid forklift licence, demonstrating expertise in operating heavy machinery.
* Experience: Minimum 12 months of experience in forklift driving, showcasing your skills and adaptability.
* Availability: Willingness to work night shift, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to the role.
* Criminal History: Clean police history, ensuring a safe and secure working environment.
* Soft Skills: Strong focus on safety, accuracy, and teamwork, with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
* Physical Requirements: Physically fit, reliable, and able to perform tasks that require manual labor.
