About the Role
In this role, you'll lead a crew — including seasonal workers — to ensure sheds are efficiently cleaned and prepared for new flocks. Some of your key responsibilities will include:
* High‑pressure cleaning and sanitation of poultry sheds and equipment
* Coordinating shed set‑up and fumigation preparation
* Ensuring all cleaning activities follow strict WHS and biosecurity requirements
* Assisting with bird placement, relocation, and vaccination
* Conducting toolbox talks and safety checks with your team
* Leading seasonal workers and ensuring they are trained and supported
* Completing required record‑keeping for cleaning, chemical usage, and compliance
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience in a leadership or team coordination role
* Strong understanding of biosecurity and safe work practices
* Ability to work in a physical, fast‑paced environment
* Machinery or high‑pressure cleaning equipment experience is highly regarded
* Strong communication skills, organisation, and attention to detail
* A positive and proactive attitude with a commitment to teamwork
