About Your New Role:
As a Payroll Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing and processing three separate payrolls, including one monthly and two fortnightly payrolls. Key responsibilities include:
1. Updating and maintaining employee records, change of employee conditions, salary sacrifice arrangements, and setting up new starters.
2. Processing quarterly Superannuation payments.
3. Assisting with month-end reporting, including preparing month-end payroll journals.
4. Handling and resolving payroll queries.
About You:
To be successful in this position, you will ideally have exposure to the following:
1. Previous payroll experience with a strong foundation in payroll processes.
2. Desirable experience with payroll software such as ADP, HumanForce, or Tanda.
3. Basic proficiency in Excel.
4. Exceptional attention to detail.
5. Effective communication skills, coupled with strong organizational and time management abilities.
6. The capacity to work autonomously and take ownership of projects.
7. A knack for analyzing and processing large volumes of data while maintaining a high level of accuracy and service.
8. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines effectively, both as an independent contributor and within a close-knit team.
