Senior Estimator

As a Senior Estimator at Adenco, you will lead the preparation of accurate, competitive, and timely estimates across Mechanical, Structural, Piping (SMP), Civil, and associated project scopes. You'll work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to develop winning proposals and support the successful delivery of major projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop detailed cost estimates for Mechanical, SMP, Civil, and Piping works
* Interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documents
* Prepare BOQs, take‐offs, and cost breakdowns
* Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricingIdentify risks, opportunities, and value‐engineering options
* Contribute to tender strategies and bid submissions
* Support project teams during handover and early project phases
* Maintain estimating databases, cost histories, and benchmarking tools
You're a seasoned estimator with a strong technical background and a sharp commercial mindset. You bring a proactive approach, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across disciplines.
You will have
* Proven experience as an estimator in Mechanical, SMP, Civil, and/or Piping
* Strong understanding of construction methodologies and industry standards
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
* Excellent analytical and numerical skills
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
* Proficiency with estimating software and MS Office
* Experience in the resources, utilities, or infrastructure sectors (highly regarded)
