The Position
The Sales Coordinator is responsible for developing customer relationships to promote retention and works with the Oceania Sales team to ensure that customers achieve expected business outcomes with Maersk solutions. Internally, this role is titled Customer Success Partner .
Location : Sydney or Melbourne, Australia (Hybrid work arrangement)
Responsibilities
* Support sales representatives and build long-term trusting relationships with customers to maximize value from Maersk partnership.
* Coordinate tender handling & quoting processes, collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and comprehensive offers.
* Manage allocation processes and coordinate with customers to ensure delivery on volume commitments.
* Act as a customer advocate by meeting customer needs and resolving account issues swiftly, utilizing resources across the company as needed.
What we are looking for:
* Experience in freight forwarding or supply chain/logistics industry, preferably with airfreight/LCL knowledge.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Strong customer relations and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple priorities, and maintain quality.
* Good process understanding and digital proficiency.
Preferred candidates will undergo reference checks and pre-employment screening, including a National Police Check. We consider applicants with criminal histories in accordance with legal requirements. Background checks on employment and education history may also be conducted.
