Community Engagement Officer
1. Full time 1 year fixed term role (Leave coverage)
2. Starting salary: $90,549
3. General superannuation scheme up to 15.25%

We are seeking a motivated and suitably experienced Community Engagement Officer to cover a 12 month period of leave.
About the role:
As the Community Engagement Officer, your role will be to drive implementation of the City’s Community Engagement Framework, develop engagement plans, build community engagement capacity and produce engagement tools and materials.
What you’ll need to succeed:
We are seeking applications from positive team players who have:
4. Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
5. Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering stakeholder engagement strategies and driving continual improvement in community and stakeholder engagement.
6. Demonstrated knowledge of IAP2 community engagement principles and processes.
7. Demonstrated experience in the delivery and / or facilitation of workshops, presentations, digital content and fact sheets.
8. Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
