Job description
One of our client‐leading pipe manufacturers in Australia are currently looking for Machine/Extrusion and Forklift Operators to work both Day and night shifts.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor the production process during your shift to maintain quality and efficiency.
* Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines to minimize downtime.
* Inspect finished products during your shift to ensure they meet quality standards.
* Record production data and maintain accurate documentation specific to your shift.
* Operate the Extruder Machine to produce high‐quality PVC plastic piping.
* Perform quality tests and ensure that the product meets the required standards.
* Use a forklift to transport finished and packed pallets to the yard.
* Ensure a protected and clean working environment.
Qualifications
* Hold a current forklift license (experience not mandatory).
* Previous experience as a Machine Operator is preferred.
* Reliable and flexible.
* Ability to use initiative.
* Motivated, enthusiastic and energetic.
* Solid commitment and desire to learn and achieve.
* Commitment to long term employment.
Shift Patterns
Day shift operators will work during the day (6 am to 6 pm), while night shift operators will work at night (6 pm to 6 am). There will be no mixed patterns.
The shift schedule for the two‐week period is as follows: In the first week, employees will work on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. In the second week, they will work on Wednesday and Thursday. Employees will work for seven days in each two‐week period, and the schedule will repeat.
