Job Description
This is a part-time position that offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of families and young children. As a Child and Family Practitioner, you will be working in a collaborative environment with a multidisciplinary team of professionals who are passionate about providing high-quality services to families.
Your primary focus will be on managing client caseloads, conducting home visits, and developing case plans that address the unique needs and strengths of each family. You will also have the opportunity to engage with other services and organizations to provide comprehensive support to families.
In addition to your direct work with families, you will contribute to the development and implementation of programs and services that promote healthy relationships, early childhood education, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of this role include:
* Managing a caseload of families with young children aged 0-8 years
* Conducting home visits and assessments to identify strengths and needs
* Developing and implementing case plans that address the unique needs of each family
* Collaborating with other services and organizations to provide comprehensive support to families
* Engaging in community outreach and engagement activities to promote program services

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, or a related discipline
* Demonstrated experience working with young children and families, including the application of practical intervention and casework skills
* A high level understanding of preventative and early intervention approaches in child and family support
* Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate with families from diverse backgrounds
* Ability to identify and respond to risks, including escalating concerns and making reports as necessary
* Current driver's license and valid Blue Card
