About the role:
The Finance Analyst plays a critical role in delivering accurate financial insights and supporting strategic decision-making within the NDIS framework. This position ensures compliance, drives system improvements, and provides actionable analysis to enhance operational efficiency and sustainability.
The role provides financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and systems support to enable data-driven decisions, ensure compliance, and enhance operational efficiency under the NDIS business model.
Role Responsibilities:

* Prepare monthly management accounts including P&L by program/service line, variance analysis, and commentary.
* Deliver monthly analysis pack with dashboard, trend analysis, KPIs and statistical measures to support business development.
* Analyze participant-level revenue streams, NDIA claims, and cost-to-serve metrics.
* Monitor utilization rates, billable hours, and workforce efficiency against NDIS pricing arrangements.
* Develop profitability models for service offerings and programs, including overhead allocation and funding compliance.
* Coordinate annual budget and rolling forecasts (P&L and Cashflow) aligned to NDIS pricing and participant growth assumptions.
* Model revenue based on participant plans, service mix, and NDIA price guide changes.
* Act as SME for ERP/EPM systems, lease liability module, and NDIS claim processing platforms.
* Ensure integrity of master data and mapping to NDIA categories.
* Develop dashboards for operational KPIs and automate NDIA claim reconciliation workflows to reduce manual effort and errors.
* Collaborate with Finance, Payroll, Service Delivery, Operations, and Workforce Planning teams to optimize utilization and cost efficiency.

To be successful in this role, you will need:
* CPA or CA Qualified with bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
* Demonstrated relevant experience within financial analysis, reporting and modelling within Disability Services or NDIS environment preferrable.
* Knowledge of NDIA pricing arrangements, participant funding models, and compliance requirements.
* Strong ERP and BI skills, advanced Excel and data modelling skills.
* Advanced analytical interpretation and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, and business partnering skills.
