About the role:
As a key member of our Infrastructure and Environment team, you will play a vital role in delivering quality designs and estimates for infrastructure renewal, upgrades, and pre-planning works. This is a hands-on position where your technical skills will directly contribute to the development of roads, drainage, and civil infrastructure that supports our vibrant community.
What you'll be doing:
* Creating and delivering detailed designs and cost estimates for civil infrastructure projects.
* Using Microstation, 12D, and other CAD software to prepare accurate drawings.
* Undertaking traffic investigations and develop practical solutions.
* Liaising with internal teams, contractors, and consultants to ensure projects run smoothly.
* Providing expert advice on standards, specifications, and policies.
* Conducting site inspections and resolving design-related issues.
What you'll bring to the role:
* Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or experience in civil design.
* Strong CAD skills (Microstation and 12D preferred).
* Knowledge of estimating, budgeting, and project administration.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Pre-employment Requirements:
* Current C Class Driver's Licence
* Construction Awareness White Card
* National Police Clearance
* Right to work in Australia
