About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Graduate Lawyer to join our Employment Law team based in Mackay. This role is ideal for a graduate with a genuine interest in workplace relations, employment law, and industrial relations who is looking for hands-on experience and strong mentoring.
You'll work closely with experienced employment lawyers and gain exposure to a broad range of matters, including advisory work, dispute resolution, and advocacy in employment-related forums.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with employment law and industrial relations matters
* Draft correspondence, advices, contracts, and workplace documents
* Conduct legal research and assist with case preparation
* Attend client meetings and hearings with senior lawyers
* Support senior practitioners with litigation and advisory work
* Liaise with clients, barristers, and external stakeholders
About You
* Recently completed (or about to complete) a Bachelor of Laws
* Eligible to commence or currently completing PLT
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent attention to detail and analytical ability
* A professional and proactive approach to work
* Genuine interest in employment and workplace relations law
