We are now seeking an experienced Supervisor to lead site operations and drive project performance on our upcoming works in the Mackay Region.
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for safety, productivity, quality and team performance on site.
About the Role
Reporting to the Project Manager and Superintendent, you will take ownership of daily site operations, leading crews and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered safely on time and within budget.
You will play a critical role in maintaining Pentacon's high standards across HSEQ, quality, compliance and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery & Performance
· Lead and coordinate site teams including Leading Hands, Plant Operators & Labourers
· Manage scheduling and programming to meet milestones and budgets
· Monitor productivity and adjust resources as required
· Supervise subcontractors and ensure compliance with project specifications
· Manage plant and equipment utilisation and maintenance
· Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies
· Ensure quality standards are achieved and maintained
HSEQ Leadership
· Implement and enforce the Safety Management Plan
· Promote a proactive safety culture across site
· Ensure full compliance with legislative and company requirements
· Oversee daily prestarts, reporting and safety documentation
People Management
· Lead, mentor and motivate site teams
· Provide clear direction and performance feedback
· Support training and professional development
· Maintain strong team culture and accountability
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
· Maintain positive client relationships
· Provide accurate and timely reporting
· Coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
What We're Looking For
· Proven experience as a Civil Supervisor within construction projects
· Strong knowledge of civil construction methodologies
· Demonstrated ability to lead crews and subcontractors
· Sound understanding of HSEQ compliance and risk management
· Strong communication and organisational skills
· Ability to manage productivity, cost control and plant utilisation
