**We are looking for the new face of our small and friendly Respite and Care facility.**

Whitehaven is a small family owned and operated business. We provide respite care to our community in times of need. We also work closely with Barwon Health to ensure the best in patient care for short stays. With a small and friendly team. This is the perfect opportunity to change lanes from a busy nursing schedule to a customer service focus and propel your career in a new direction.
**Key Responsibilities include**:

- Maintenance of patient records
- Processing, invoicing and related general office administration
- Answering the phone and handling enquiries
- Greet and manage walk in customers
- Process and follow up on doctor referrals
- Patient bookings and conduct follow up
- Assist patients with day to day needs
- Import sleep study results into patient file in Operating System
- Manage Medicare billing and other payments
- Patient support & scheduling
- Preparation and processing of orders and invoices
- Participate in the preparation of marketing material and events
- Ensure reception area and front of office is kept tidy and presentable
- Document and report any problems incurred with equipment or monitoring devices
- Undertake training & development as required

**To succeed in this role, it will be important to possess**:

- Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Google Aps
- Strong level of ability to communicate with patients
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail Professional, warm and friendly disposition
- A high standard of work ethic - self-motivated, pro-active, takes pride in work
- Excellent time management skills
- Able to work autonomously

**Desirable Qualifications and Qualities**
- Have previous experience working within Medical related role or retail roles that have a patient care focus such as clinics, professional service consultants and Medical and general reception experience is advantageous.

**Salary**: $26.00 - $36.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Performance bonus

- Australia (preferred)
